Purpose of service inspection
The ALL machine service inspection is an extended technical inspection performed in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations, aimed at maintaining high efficiency, machining accuracy, and operational safety. Regular inspections using diagnostic measurements help reduce downtime and extend the machine's service life.
Scope of control of basic systems
The ALL option checks the operation of sensors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and key mechanical systems. Additionally, electrical and electronic systems, play in mechanical systems, and machine leveling are checked, allowing for early detection of irregularities affecting accuracy and safety.
Ballbar Test – Machine Positioning
The inspection includes measuring the machine's positioning parameters using a ballbar system, which examines the deviation of the circular path from the CNC-defined trajectory. The ballbar test allows for the assessment of positioning accuracy, detection of geometry errors, backlash, servo issues, and other deviations affecting machining tolerances.
Spindle vibration analysis
An additional element is spindle vibration analysis, used as a predictive diagnostic tool. It allows for the detection of symptoms of bearing wear, imbalance, or looseness before they lead to failure, allowing for advance planning of service and avoiding sudden downtime.
Cost of the service
The ALL option includes travel costs and the cost of a service engineer, allowing for an upfront estimate of the basic cost of the inspection. Any spare parts and additional work beyond the scope described are usually billed separately, according to an individual quote.
