The vises are made of stainless steel hardened to 60 +/- 2 HRC. They are characterized by high precision and workpiece clamping repeatability of +/- 0.02 mm. They are designed for use on CNC machine tools to clamp both short and long workpieces by arranging multiple vises into a clamping unit on the machine's T-slot table. They are equipped with the "Pull Down" system – a system for pressing the jaws against the guides, thanks to the prismatic jaw design, patented by GERARDI. This solution allows for quick conversion of the vise, without the need for disassembly, from standard jaws to prismatic, stepped, shaped, soft jaws for custom shaping (milling), and other custom-made options. The vise is based on T16H7 keys or on centrally drilled Ø16F7 holes in the vise axis. • The "Compact Rack" clamping system allows the movable jaw to be quickly moved to the workpiece, and then, after locking it, the workpiece is clamped using an adjustment screw.
