Ibarmia P milling machine The P series machines are portal production centers for precise and efficient machining of heavy and complex workpieces, with the possibility of integrating many technological processes. There are 3 sizes of P machines available, with a maximum diameter of the processed part: ø2600 mm, ø3000 mm and ø3600 mm and a weight of up to 25 tons. Machines in this series are equipped with two types of heads: the THC version with the B axis positioned at a 45° angle to the Z axis, and the THR version with the A axis parallel to the X axis. The gantry design allows access to the axis and spindle nose far beyond the center of the rotary table, which can be crucial in highly demanding applications. P-series machines are characterized by high bed and gantry rigidity and high rotary table load capacity, which, combined with powerful electrospindles, enables efficient material removal. The gantry design minimizes X-axis movement inertia. This feature, combined with gearless linear axis drives, guarantees high dynamics. P Series machines are also available in a Multiprocess version, which combines milling, turning, grinding, and power skiving in a single production center. This ensures maximum reduction in labor costs and operator qualification requirements while simultaneously improving quality and productivity by reducing setup times.
