Haas SB-35Y – Lathe with Slideway and Y-axis
The Haas SB-35Y combines the high rigidity, high load capacity, and effective vibration damping of traditional slideway machine tools with the benefits of the modern, intuitive Haas control. This provides both stability and precision for heavy-duty machining, as well as ease of programming and operation.
The machine is equipped with a BMT65 tool turret, hardened and precision-ground guides, and hand-machined Turcite-B-coated sliding surfaces for even smoother motion. The 30° inclined bed design and 30° Y-axis wedge angle provide optimal access to the work area and facilitate chip removal.
The compact dimensions of the SB-35Y make it easy to fit into a workshop space without compromising on processing capabilities.
