Kitamura 2XV Sparkchanger – Compact Machine with Dual APC Station
The Kitamura 2XV Sparkchanger is a modern machining center designed for high-performance machining of small and medium-sized parts. The machine is equipped with a factory-installed two-station APC system with 180° rotation, allowing for quick setups and minimal downtime. Its compact design makes the Sparkchanger ideal for facilities where space is as valuable as productivity.
The machine features IAC System 1 thermal compensation, which ensures stable and precise machining regardless of changing operating conditions. A high-performance 41-horsepower, 15,000-rpm spindle guarantees both fast cutting and high cutting power in more challenging materials.
The standard scraper-type chip conveyor, which can be mounted on the left or right side of the machine, facilitates clean operation and ensures smooth operation. The 40-station automatic tool changer (ATC) increases production flexibility and reduces downtime between operations.
Control is provided by the state-of-the-art Kitamura Arumatik-Mi Pro controller, which processes data up to 16 times faster than standard systems, resulting in smoother and more efficient machining. The machine is also Renishaw probe-ready, allowing for rapid setup and on-site part quality control.
