The VF-8SS is a high-speed Haas vertical machining center that combines high spindle speeds with efficient rapid moves and rapid tool changes. This significantly reduces cycle times and increases production throughput.
The machine features a 12,000 rpm direct-drive spindle, an ultra-fast side-mount tool change system, and rapid traverses on all axes. The VF-8SS offers 203 mm more X-axis travel than the VF-6SS, allowing for larger workpieces to be machined.
