Purpose of service inspection
The ALL machine service inspection is an extended, scheduled inspection performed according to the manufacturer's recommendations to maintain high machine efficiency and reliability. Regular inspections help reduce the risk of breakdowns and downtime, and extend the life of key components.
ALL variant range
The ALL variant checks the operation of sensors, pneumatics and hydraulics, mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems. Additionally, clearances in mechanical systems and machine leveling are checked, allowing for an assessment of the overall condition of the drive system and structure.
Ballbar Test
The inspection involves measuring the machine's positioning parameters using a ballbar system, which examines movement deviations along a predetermined circular path. This test allows for the detection of geometry errors, backlash, servo mismatches, and other issues affecting positioning accuracy before they impact machining quality.
Spindle vibration analysis
Additionally, spindle vibration analysis is performed, which allows for the detection of signs of bearing wear, toolholder imbalance, or play before a serious failure occurs.
