Haas DC-2/40 – More power and workspace in a compact design
The DC-2/40 is an evolution of the popular DC series drilling and tapping center, designed for machining larger and more demanding workpieces. The machine offers an extended range of X- and Y-axis travel and an enlarged table that allows for mounting multiple vises, larger components, or more complex tool configurations.
The DC-2/40 comes standard with a 10,000 rpm 40-taper spindle and a 20-station high-speed tool changer for rapid changeovers and faster cycle times. Optional 12,000 rpm or 15,000 rpm spindles are available for shops requiring even higher productivity.
Thanks to their compact design with a rear chip ejector, the DC-2/40 machines can be placed side by side, maximizing workshop space savings. A sturdy, extra-wide base and triangular column ensure high stability and rigidity, even when machining heavier workpieces.
