Haas DC-1/40 – Compact 40-Taper Drilling and Tapping Center
The DC-1/40 is a powerful drill and tap mill equipped with a 40-taper, 10,000 rpm spindle that provides high rigidity and precision machining. A 20-tool high-speed tool changer enables smooth and rapid tool changes, reducing cycle times and increasing productivity. Optional 12,000 rpm or 15,000 rpm spindles are available for even greater performance.
The compact design with a rear chip ejector allows for multiple machines to be placed side-by-side, maximizing workshop space. The machine also provides easy access to automation systems, and its one-piece base and wide-set triangular column ensure stability and rigidity even when processing heavier workpieces.
