Blohm Profimat MC profile production grinder The Blohm Profimat MC is a compact grinding center designed for versatile production applications – from precision profile grinding to internal and external surface machining. Thanks to its mobile column and fixed table, the machine offers maximum stability and efficiency at a width of just 2000 mm , allowing for easy integration even in confined production spaces. The grinder is available with a variety of spindle and table configurations, allowing for easy adaptation to demanding applications. Five-axis CNC grinders from the MC series can be equipped with an optional horizontal spindle with power up to 60 kW , as well as a fixed or tilting NC vertical spindle with speeds up to 60,000 rpm . A maximum cutting speed of 170 m/s allows the machine to handle both conventional materials and modern technologies, such as down-cut diamond cutting and CBN grinding wheels. The equipment includes a grinding wheel magazine with a wheel changer for quick tool changes, and the Sinumerik 840D control system, which provides complete cycle and tool control and precise process monitoring. The innovative RazorTec® grinding wheel cleaning method is also available for uncompromising tool cleanliness and performance.
